The Workshop: Winners of 1st Canadian Playwriting Competition
Interesting trivia: At an ODL Workshop production in 1947, Munro MacLennan described how, as a member of the British occupation force in Berlin the previous year, he had rewritten from memory "Macbeth of Venice" for a group that was looking for a play. It was produced with an international cast and crew of British, Americans and French with costumes supplied by the German National Opera House.
