Trivia: Lord Duncannon, Frederick (Eric) Ponsonby, 10th Earl of Bessborough, was the son of Their Excellencies the Governor General of Canada and Countess Bessborough.
Rupert Harvey, listed as "Guest Director" in the house program, was a well-known adjudicator and producer who came from England especially to direct this Christmas production. He was director of the Stansted Players (Lord Bessborough's private theatre in the UK), and had been adjudicator of the first Dominion Drama Festival in 1933.
