Anthony and Anna
by
St. John Irvine

Season 15
Jan 4 to Jan 8, 1928

"Anthony and Anna" was the first production by the Ottawa Drama League in its own theatre, a renovated church at 400 King Edward. This marked the beginning of a new era for the ODL which had performed in rented premises since its inception in 1913.

Performances continued in the Little Theatre until it was destroyed by fire on July 1, 1970. The current theatre was built in the same location, and opened in 1972.

The performances of "Anthony and Anna" opened with a Prologue written by Ottawa Drama League President Duncan Campbell Scott and spoken by Dorothy White.
