2019 marked the first year that the EODL permitted theatres to submit more than one play for a "roving" adjudication. It was also the first year that a theatre could submit a play that they did not intend to take to Theatre Ontario in which case the entry would be eligible for all awards except Best Production. In 2019, the OLT entered both "Of Mice and Men" and "Marvin's Room", but only the latter was eligible for Best Production.
