The Little Theatre hosted the French Regional Drama Festival over three days.
On Feb. 14, Le Caveau presented "La Belle au Bois" by Jules Supervielle; on Feb. 15, La Comedie Nouvelle presented "Nationale 6", and Groupe de l'Association St. Jean Baptiste d'Ottawa presented "Les Irascibles"; and on Feb. 16, L'Ecole d'Art Dramatique de Hull presented "Le Doyen des Enfants de Choeur".
Adjudicator Robert Speaight chose "Nationale 6" to go on to represent the French section of Eastern Ontario in the Dominion Drama Festival held in Toronto in April 1949.
