The Workshop - Winners of the 20th Canadian Playwriting Competition; EODL 1959 Regional Festival entry (one-act)
The productions were adjudicated by CBC-Montreal producer Guy Beaulne. The presentation of prizes to the winning playwrights was made on Oct. 4 by Hon. Brooke Claxton, President of the Canada Council.
"Voices of Desire", 1st prize winner in the Competition and also considered to be the best of the three productions by the adjudicator, was OLT's one-act entry into the Eastern Ontario Regional Drama Festival held in Kingston, ON, April 7-11, 1959.
