This play was performed again on Feb. 12, 1958, as the OLT full-length entry into the Eastern Ontario Regional Drama Festival held at Fisher Park High School, Ottawa, Feb 11-15, 1958. On this occasion, it was directed by Julia Murphy, and there were some cast changes, including Elizabeth Hicks replacing Dorothy Burnett in the role of Dolly, and Rich Little replacing Bill Armstrong as The Sheriff.
Elizabeth Hicks won the Best Actress Award (for this, and the OLT one-act entry "All Those Who Grieve" in which she also starred), and Andrée Cunningham won Best Supporting Actress. It was the runner-up for the Calvert Award for Best Play.
