The Workshop - Winners of the 15th Canadian Playwriting Competition; EODL 1954 Regional Festival entry (one-act)
Following the opening night performance, the Governor General presented prizes to the four winning playwrights. Norman Williams and Peter Dwyer shared the first place honours.
"Flood" was performed again on Feb. 27, 1954, as the Workshop's entry into the 1954 Eastern Ontario Regional Drama Festival held in Brockville (Feb. 22-27). The adjudicator was Graham Suter.
It won the Fulford Shield for Best One-Act Play, and it also automatically won the Senator Rupert Davies Trophy for Best Canadian Play as it was the only one entered.
