"Papa Is All" was also performed (prior to its Ottawa run) in the Kemptville School Auditorium on May 2, 1947, under the auspices of the Kemptville and Community Drama League.
The production was remounted the following season at the Little Theatre on Feb. 11, 1948, in advance of going to Kingston as the ODL's entry into the Eastern Ontario Regional Drama Festival on Feb. 14, 1948. After winning Best Production and Best Actor (Bernard McManus), it was presented at the Dominion Drama Festival on Apr. 26, 1948, hosted by the Little Theatre for the first time in eleven years. It won the Festival Plaque for the best English play exclusive of the trophy winner.
