Synopsis
Tony Wendice has married his wife for her money and now plans to murder her for the same reason. He arranges the perfect murder by blackmailing a scoundrel he used to know into strangling her at a time when he has the perfect alibi. However, the wife turns the tables on her murderer! Her cunning husband now sees his hireling’s death as an opportunity to have his wife convicted for murder. Unbearable suspense ensues. Made into a hit movie by Alfred Hitchcock.
