The Board of  Directors is a  volunteer “working Board” composed of nine members and its function is to manage the affairs of the OLT. This includes the power to make bylaws, resolutions and policies. Its members are expected to attend the monthly meetings and volunteer to work on a variety of committees and project teams.

Being a member of the Board  is truly rewarding, a great learning experience and actually a lot of fun.

We have 5 incumbents that are all standing for extension of their terms and could be contested  in the upcoming Annual General Meeting on Saturday November 16, 2019.

Would you like to run for one of those  positions ?

If you are current member of the OLT you are eligible to run. Members are persons who are:

Seated Life Members

OR Current Subscribers (Classic or Custom)

OR  Active Volunteers

We are seeking individuals with a  wide variety of talents, not just those related to acting in an OLT play or working on a past production. Previous experience working on boards and committees is a valuable asset.  Other skills, such as financial, accounting, technical, and marketing are all welcome. There is not a one size fit all model for members of the Board. We strive to seek  a compromise between respecting the legacy of the Theatre and advancing forward with new ideas and directions.

If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors:

– Submit your nomination in writing and signed by two members of the theatre (subscribers or active volunteers)

The deadline for nominations is Friday November 8, 2019 @ 3:00 PM.
